For more than 20 years we’ve been supplying solenoids for automotive fuel injection systems.
Together with our customers, we lay already in the design process the foundation for an economically manufacturable and at the same time robust product. Through fully automatic production, we inspire our customers again and again with outstanding quality. In this area, we have several times received the award “Supplier of the year” from Bosch.
We manufacture large quantities of solenoids using state-of-the-art multi-spindle linear winding machines. In most applications, these solenoids and their contact elements receive a final coating. We prefer to manufacture large quantities of solenoids on semi- to fully automated production lines.

DIESEL DISTRIBUTOR PUMPS
In high-pressure pumps for diesel injection systems, the fuel quantities are metered via solenoid valves with coils from ODW-ELEKTRIK. Each type of these pumps is customised to be compatible with a specific combustion engine.
An array of different types is produced by ODW-ELEKTRIK, with differently configured electrical connectors.
COMMON RAIL INJECTOR (ELECTROMAGNETIC)
ODW-ELEKTRIK uses fully automated lines for the production of solenoids in large quantities.

UNIT INJECTOR SYSTEM
To increase efficiency further and adhere to the strict exhaust standards, our customer Robert Bosch GmbH developed a diesel injection system exclusively for the Volkswagen Group with a coil assembly from ODW-ELEKTRIK, which creates an injection pressure of 2,000 bar with a separate high-pressure pump for each fuel injector.
ODW-ELEKTRIK manufactured this electro-magnetic assembly for controlling fuel injection for many years. Volkswagen AG has now changed from the unit-injector system to common rail technology, which is used by the majority of the industry.
