Electro-magnetic common rail systems
Advancing injection technology from 1997 to 1998 one of our customers Robert Bosch GmbH developed a new common rail injection system for diesel injection.
To further increase efficiency and comply with mandatory exhaust standards our customer Robert Bosch GmbH developed a diesel injection system with separate high pressure pump for each fuel injector exclusively for the Volkswagen group. Injection pressures of 2.000 bar were implemented.
Magnetic coils for high-pressure fuel pumps
High-pressure pumps in diesel injection systems regulate the fuel amounts via solenoid valves. These pumps are customised to the specific combustion engine.
Exhaust sensor supply lines
Exhaust sensor leads are found in very hot areas of the engine and have high requirements with respect to temperature resistance and stability against external environmental conditions.
Electronic transmission systems: steering
Modern power steering is no longer hydraulic but electric.
Electronic transmission systems: airbag
Electric airbag communications systems are typically located inside the steering column or directly inside the steering wheel.
Airbag supply lines
When it comes to the functionality and production of safety-related assemblies such as leads for airbags, special standards apply. For years ODW has qualified as supplier of these products and in collaboration with its customers develops special plug-in systems with integrated EMC protection.
